Definitely different and kind of neat: You arrive at this hotel via a 450-metre treetop boardwalk. The Rockwater Secret Cove Resort has added seven new Tenthouse Suites at its property on B.C.'s Sunshine Coast, each one with heated slate floors, a hydrotherapy tub, fireplace, Japanese-inspired shoji screens and a balcony. A second phase of nine units will be constructed by spring. Rates start at $299 per night, including breakfast.
