I was advised that you were the owner/manager so I thought you were the appropriate person to send this to.
My husband and I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to you and your staff for the absolutley amazing visit we had to your resort June 11-14/09. Having just been married on May 30/09 your resort was the last stop on our honeymoon and what an amazing way to end things. We had tried once prior to come to your resort on the May long weekend in 2008 however unfortunatley were involved in a bad car accident on our way to the ferry so were unable to come. I was so dissapointed as I had really been looking forward to seeing these "luxury tenthouse suites". So when planning our honeymoon I wanted to be sure to include your resort as part of it.
From the moment we stepped in the front door to the moment we left we felt like celebrities we were treated so well. Everyone was so accomodating and seemed happy to see us and happy that we were there. We had only planned to be there 2 nights but after being there 1/2 hour we immediatly asked to have our stay extended by another night which your staff worked very hard to accomodate for us and did. I can't even describe to you how happy we were while we were there and how happy it still makes me to think about our time there. You have a truly unique resort and have very special staff. Two people stand out in particular Karen your spa manager and the wonderful lady that waited on us for breakfast/lunch and poolside cocktails each day (I've forgotten her name but she had blond hair and was just lovely). I can't say I have ever hugged staff at a hotel when checking out but found myself doing so when we left your place. Karen was amazing and even talked my husband into getting his very first massage (oceanside at that) and he was so greatful to her afterward....I've never seen him that relaxed. She treated us like we were very special clients and that was very much appreciated.
I have to tell you that we did get married in Tofino and somehow had expected this kind of treatment from the resort we got married at however didn't receive so when we showed up at your place and were overwhelmed with your gracious staff it was just such a wonderful surprise and made us feel special as it was the last part of our honeymoon.
And the tenthouse suites I couldn't believe the attention to detail that went into everything with these. You left nothing out and nothing to spare. How fantastic. Even having the guest book to sign and read really made you feel part of something special.
Your staff are wonderful and a fantastic representation of the company you run. We haven't yet stopped telling everyone we know about your place and are already planning to come back hopefully around the same time next year for another visit to the tenthouse suites.
So thank you for offering such a unique experience and such a warm and inviting place to be you have gained life long repeat customers from us.
