Guests can choose from a wide variety of outdoor activities, which include enjoying our heated 45 foot swimming pool or soaking up the sun on one of our many outdoor viewing decks. For those wishing to discover the many wonders of the Sunshine Coast, beachcombing along the shoreline or experiencing a hike or mountain bike ride through old growth cedar forest and along coastal trails will be an ideal daytime excursion. Rockwater's dedicated Activities Concierge will gladly help you plan your adventures on the Sunshine Coast.At Rockwater Secret Cove Resort we take sea kayaking to new heights. Rentals of one and two person kayaks are available, and in a matter of minutes we can have you gliding through the calm waters to explore the inlets, bays and islands of the area. There is no better way to observe wildlife and marine life than from the water. Guided tours and lessons from Halfmoon Sea Kayaks are available at Rockwater Secret Cove Resort to ensure your kayaking experience is safe and enjoyable.
An array of leisure activities await you at Rockwater Secret Cove, Sunshine Coast Resort, be it a friendly game of Horseshoes, Bocce Ball, Beach Volley Ball or Croquet. And of course for those wanting to get into a bit of real competition, our beach volleyball centre will get the team spirit flying.

Malaspina Ranch
Horseback riding is also just a few minutes away in Pender Harbour. Trail horses take riders of all levels to mountainous elevations of up to 1800 feet. From these heights, equestrians have an idyllic view of the ocean, the Caren Mountain range, Mount Daniel and Pender Harbour. Excursions last one to two hours at a walk, trot or canter.
Golf the Sunshine Coast
The Sunshine Coast boasts three outstanding golf courses each only a short drive from Rockwater Secret Cove Resort. The oldest course is the 18 hole Sunshine Coast Golf & Country Club in Roberts Creek, beautifully carved from the coastal rainforest that enfolds the course on all sides. The 18 hole Sechelt Golf & Country Club is surrounded by views of the Sechelt Inlet and the mountains. And to the North, the Pender Harbour Golf Course is a challenging nine-hole course with beautiful coastal mountain vistas.Water Shuttle Service to Thormanby Island
Directly across from Rockwater Secret Cove Resort lies North and South Thormanby Islands. South Thormanby has a wonderful stretch of beach while North Thormanby is the site of the Buccaneer Bay Marine Park and campsite. When the tide is low it is possible to walk between the two while exploring tidal pools and a variety of wonderfully colourful marine life.Experience the beautiful sandy beaches of Thormanby by boarding our water shuttle departing daily from Rockwater Secret Cove Resort dock at 11:15 am and returning at 4:15 pm. Enjoy a day relaxing on the sandy beach or take a long walk along the miles of shoreline.
