Leisure pursuits are fully provided for at Rockwater Secret Cove Resort for the enjoyment of all our guests regardless of age. Whatever your pleasure, you will find it here. Guests can choose from a wide variety of outdoor activities, which include enjoying our heated 45 foot swimming pool or soaking up the sun on one of our many outdoor viewing decks. For those wishing to discover the many wonders of the Sunshine Coast, beachcombing along the shoreline or experiencing a hike or mountain bike ride through old growth cedar forest and along coastal trails will be an ideal daytime excursion. Rockwater's dedicated Activities Concierge will gladly help you plan your adventures on the Sunshine Coast.An array of leisure activities await you at Rockwater Secret Cove, Sunshine Coast Resort, be it a friendly game of Horseshoes, Bocce Ball, Beach Volley Ball or Croquet. And of course for those wanting to get into a bit of real competition, our beach volleyball centre will get the team spirit flying.

Chelsea Ruben and Nigel Harrison have sailed the oceans from the Arctic to the tropics. Nigel is a certified mountain bike guide, and Chelsea is a marine biologist and naturalist. With world-wide adventure experience, they will help you make your Sunshine Coast holiday exactly what you want it to be. Sailing
"Caledonia II" is a 47 foot Jeanneau sloop with sea- stories to tell. Join us and return home with some stories of your own. Built for comfort and speed, you can glide lazily among the coastal islands or race the wind for a thrilling sail. Full-day, half-day and evening charters available for up to 6 passengers. Suggested destinations include Smuggler’ s Cove, Buccaneer Bay, Thormanby Island, or a visit to the jewel of BC’s marine parks, Jedediah Island. Plan your own provisions and crew, or let us organize the trip and spoil you on board. Sailing Lessons
Ever wanted to learn to sail? Do you already have some experience and want to hone your skills? Sign up for an hour to test the waters, or for multiple trips to practice new skills. Chelsea and Nigel have sailed extensively among islands, along coasts, and in the open ocean. They can teach you sail theory, navigation and the rules of the sea.$160.00 per hour private instruction (minimum two hours) for up to three guest on "Caledonia II"
Hiking
Naturalist Led Hikes
Which berries are safe to eat? What local plant was in a James Bond film? What did the Coast Salish people use for raincoats? Get answers to all the important questions. Enjoy a naturalist-led hike and learn about the flora and fauna of the forest and shoreline, stories of local Native history and European exploration. Go treasure hunting the modern way! Look for prize boxes stashed at different coordinates along local trails, with a hand-held GPS to guide you. Perfect for groups to play in teams, or hunt on your own as a couple or family. Price includes use of hand-held GPS units, GPS tutorial, walkie-talkies and on-site guide. Water Shuttle Service to Thormanby Island
Directly across from Rockwater Secret Cove Resort lies North and South Thormanby Islands. South Thormanby has a wonderful stretch of beach while North Thormanby is the site of the Buccaneer Bay Marine Park and campsite. When the tide is low it is possible to walk between the two while exploring tidal pools and a variety of wonderfully colourful marine ife.Experience the beautiful sandy beaches of Thormanby by The M.V. Grackle departing daily from Rockwater Secret Cove Resort. Enjoy a day relaxing on the sandy beach or take a long walk along the miles of shoreline.
