We have just spent three nights at Rockwater in tent #59.
Our stay was enhanced by the friendliness and efficiency of your staff. Right from the moment we checked in with the front desk staff to the waiters, spa staff and our maid. We were made to feel so welcome. You have quite a team representing the resort.
All the special touches that had been thought of in the tent; the tea lights, the beautiful robes, the cd player that took an mp3 player and even an umbrella made a difference.
The food was outstanding.
The crowning glory was the spectacular beauty of the setting and the glorious weather that we were blessed with.
It was a spectacular stay. We will recommend the Rockwater to our friends as a very classy getaway.

With summer winding down and the potential of an increased workload looming the horizon, an R&R getaway was just what I needed. I had heard many great things about the Rockwater Secret Cove Resort on British Columbia's Sunshine Coast and made the decision go up there for a couple of days.
I really had no idea of what to expect at the Resort other than what I had heard about it and what I had read on their website. I have to say the Resort was simply amazing and I wish I could've stayed an extra day or two.
The Resort is a scenic hour's drive from the Langdale Ferry Terminal and takes you through quaint, coastal little areas such as Gibsons, Sechelt and Davis Bay. In Sechelt make sure you stop for a coffee at the Bean Around the World cafe. Great coffee served by really friendly staff.
Upon arrival I noticed that the Resort was tucked in a cove with breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding coastal Islands. I was greeted by friendly staff who were very knowledgeable of the area and provided me with the insider scoop on what to do and where to go.
The next couple of days were filled with activities from walking to hiking and time just flew by. With twilight dwindling my evenings were spent hanging out by the outdoor pool and sampling the various delicious and healthy foods at the resort's restaurant. Amazing food was prepared and served by even more amazing staff.
The accommodations were first class. I stayed in a large 1 bedroom suite overlooking the cove with a wonderful view of the surrounding areas. Each morning I sat on the patio drinking coffee, reading a book and soaking in the atmosphere. Good times!
I could go on and on but suffice to say that whether you are looking for a relaxing or active getaway, check out the Rockwater Secret Cove Resort.

I just wanted to follow up and thank you for arranging the dinner for our staff from the Sechelt Branch back at the end of February. I finally managed to meet with Richard Rudderham, our SVP who hosted the evening and get his feedback on the event. He had only praise for the service the group received and loved the extra touch of the personalized menus tied in the BMO ribbon, so thank you so much for doing that. He also raved about his accommodations...the tent suite. The food, the service and accommodations were all great.
On behalf of BMO thank you again and then personally thank you so much for making this event such a success. I hope we have the opportunity to do something at Rockwater Secret Cove Resort again in the near future.

I want to start with an apology for taking home our Tenthouse Suite key! I guess we loved our suite so much we subconsciously wanted to take it home with us!
I also would like to express our extreme satisfaction with our accommodation in Tenthouse Suite #65. The views were breathtaking, privacy was never an issue and the amenities were absolutely deluxe. Both my husband and I were amazed and in awe of the visionary who dreamed up these suites nestled in the arbutus trees. every desire we had was thought of by someone on your design team; candles, big goblet wine glasses, heated floors, even make up remover! Well done people... very well done...

Thank you once again for doing an amazing job with our wedding day. Our guests from all reaches of Canada, the US and from overseas we all very impressed with Lord Jim's. The service was amazing. Your staff was professional, personable and overall top notch. The cabins were perfect and produced the exact west coast feel that was the theme of the day. The food was outstanding, I must say that people are still talking about the salmon. The entire experience was perfect and we couldn't have asked for anything more. At other weddings they release doves into the air...at Lord Jim's Bald Eagles take to the sky, simply unforgettable.
Louise did a great job handling our all plans, Deanna was flawless with our guest reservations and your support staff treated us and our guests with 5 stars. Kevin, thanks for making our wedding truly memorable. You have our greatest recommendation.
We will be back to visit and enjoy Lord Jim's every year.

Tania mentioned that she had lunch at Lord Jim's today, and that the food was delicious and the service was excellent. She met your wife Deanna today, who nice enough to show her one of your new rooms. She loved the changes that you have made in the lobby and the bar as well as the rooms. Congratulations. Tania has stayed over with her girl friends every year when the Writers Festival is on, and will again be there this year. Hopefully I will see you at the next Skal meeting.

Caroline and I are still on a high from our wedding. We have had so many comments from our guests saying that it was "The best wedding", "The perfect venue", "Lord Jim's couldn't have done a better job", and my favorite being, "Pure class from start to finish". You should be proud of yourself and your staff.
We finally received our wedding photos on CD so here are 3 good ones. We really look forward to coming back and reliving the memories.

Tonight we used the Certificate you sent us and the food and service were first class. Our waitress (I believe her name was Lauri) was second to none. She was extremely efficient, made an excellent martini and was most attentive. Our steak and lamb were cooked to perfection. We will certainly be back and will recommend Rockwater to our friends. Thank you for making my husbands 80th Birthday dinner most enjoyable.

I would like to thank the staff of RockWater Lodge for helping us all have a wonderful party last Sunday for Jack's 70th birthday. Everything was absolutely superb. We loved the new cottage we stayed in - we were impressed with the thought and detail that has gone into them and also the surrounding grounds. The food was also wonderful.
We will definitely be back often, and have already spread the word to many others.

Wendy and I have both traveled extensively and stayed at some world class places but we both agree what you have created ranks up there with the best. Dear staff members of the RockWater Resort,
We just wanted to write a quick note to sincerely thank you for making our wedding weekend so special and memorable in all aspects. From the time we checked in to the time we left, every single experience we had far exceeded our expectations and every single staff member we met was so kind and courteous and went above and beyond in terms of service.
The food was outstanding on the days before the wedding (we had several meals at the resort) and of course on the wedding day. Everybody was raving about the food and presentation. Hats off to the head chef and his team. The muscles, prawns, bison, seafood pasta, and lamb in particular were out of this world!
As for the staff, they were outstanding! I'm not sure I have been to a hotel where I have experienced such a high level of professional, curious and just 100% accommodating staff. They truly added to the whole experience of the weekend and catered to our every need.
JM was great leading up to the event as we were very concerned we could not make it because of the challenge with my mom's recent operation and her ALS. He really worked with us to find out what we needed to accommodate her. Michael in the restaurant was unbelievable, so professional and so attentive to all the guests (and also the first person to call me Mrs. Richardson).
David worked so hard to ensure everything was running smoothly the whole evening of the wedding, and finally Carol at the front desk- she was so happy, fun and helpful with everything. Those are just a few I wanted to point out but really the whole staff was fantastic. You have an amazing team who made us feel so relaxed and welcome at the resort.
Our family has gone through a lot in the past few years, so we really did not want a stuffy, formal wedding. Our idea of the wedding was for it to be laid back, fun and basically to just host a big party to celebrate our marriage with our closest friends and family. We absolutely experienced this at the Rockwater resort. So many of our guests said they had an absolute blast and that it was the best wedding they have ever been to.
We are truly looking forward to many more Valentine's & Anniversary celebrations at your resort (but it looks like we won't be solo as everyone wants to come back and join us!).
