Rockwater Spa

When visiting the Rockwater Spa in the summer and early fall, experience relaxation at its best in one of our coveted Spa Tents. Located on a bluff overlooking the ocean, these spa tents allow you to hear the ocean breeze during your treatment. During the winter months, treatments take place in our Spa Cabin. This cozy space sets the mood for a perfect pampering experience.

Please note, none of our massage therapists are RMTs (Registered Massage Therapists) therefore most medical coverage does not apply. However, if you wish to have a receipt to submit for income tax purposes, we would be happy to supply one.

SPA HOURS
Spa operating hours are from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM. We offer treatments seven days a week - please see our online booking app for availability.
Spa Courtesies & Cancellation Policy
To better meet all of our guestsā€™ needs, we require a 24-hour cancellation notice for spa services. Appointments canceled within this timeframe will be charged 100% of the treatment booked. A credit card is required for all bookings. Please advise us in advance if you are pregnant, require assistance due to an injury or disability, or if you have any allergies.
ARRIVING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please come to the main lobby reception for your appointment where your practitioner will meet you and bring you to the spa facilities. Late arrival may cause your treatment time to be shortened to accommodate appointments that follow. Therefore, please arrive 15 minutes early for massage treatments to check-in and complete a spa medical form.
Spa Attire
We want you to be completely comfortable during your treatment. The following recommendations will aid in this process. Wear undergarments, a bathing suit bottom, or go au-natural. Our practitioners are trained to drape you discreetly with linens and will protect your privacy at all times. Jewelry and valuables are best left in your room or you can place them aside in the treatment room. As a courtesy to those suffering from allergies, please refrain from wearing perfume to massage appointments.
Massage Tips
It is more comfortable to enjoy a treatment on an empty or lightly-filled stomach whenever possible. It is recommended to avoid wearing make-up to massage appointments to receive the full benefit of the head massage portion. Time allowing, a warm bath or shower prior to massage is most beneficial in relaxing your muscles. All massages other than Thai can be performed tandem.

I love this spa! I've been 7 to 9 times over the last four years or so for facials and massages and I'm amazed at the consistency in the quality of services. The facials are the best combination of effective, immediately noticeable treatment (a rarity at other places) and relaxation with arm/neck/scalp massage. And I don't know how or where they get their massage therapists but all of my massages here have been among the best I've had anywhere. This is a must-stop for me nearly every time I'm in Halfmoon Bay - and I'm a repeat customer here more than any other single spa.

This is my favorite spa in Halfmoon Bay. I am not a "spa person" and don't really like the super hush-hush posh-posh style of a lot of spas. The spa is a lovely, relaxed, and jolly atmosphere. The massage therapist was terrific too! I have been here with groups of friends who have always been extremely happy with their treatments. The Richmond pest control company that I work at also has a corporate retreat at this resort, and the spa experience again did not disappoint. The ancient ayurvedic that I had during my last spa session was really the highlight for me. I felt so incredibly balanced and detoxified after that session. It totally released some issues that I had been having for a while around my lungs. Results talk. I'll be back!

    Thai yoga massage incorporates rhythmic motion palming and thumbing along energy lines. The practitioner uses hands, feet, arms, and legs to gently guide you into various yoga postures. You will experience freedom and lasting effects for days after this massage.

  • CLASSIC FACIAL

    This 60-minute facial begins with specialized cleansing techniques and an exfoliation maskĀ  while your hands and arms are massaged. Serums and oils are used for the facial massage and then a luxurious custom mask. Eye cream and moisturizer are the finishing touches. Great for dehydrated/sensitive/normal or combination skin.

    • 60 minutes: $149

  • ROCKWATER SIGNATURE FACIAL

    For the dehydrated, sensitive, normal, or combination skin. In addition to our 60 minute facial of specialized cleansing techniques, exfoliation masks, serums, oils, and a luxurious custom mask with eye cream, you are then pampered for an additional 30 minute massage with your choice of scalp, neck, shoulders, feet, hands, and arms.

    • 90 minutes: $199

  • SALISH BODY WRAP

    This 90 minute treatment refines the silhouette with a dry brush exfoliation to prepare your skin for cleansing, followed by a warm mud application. You are cocooned in a blanket with a heating pad to help you perspire and release toxins while your face and head are massaged. Then a warm shower and finish with a full body lotion or oil mini massage.
